Fleet Week Qualcomm Innovation Zone

For three days the Port Pavilion Building will become home to the Innovation Zone. This space will host a combination of STEM and high-tech focused displays geared to attract students, service members, their families, and the public.

Fleet Week Military Ship Tours

Tours of US Navy and US Coast Guard ships will be available during Fleet Week on a first come, first served basis.

San Diego Jazz Fest and Swing Extravaganza

The 39th San Diego Jazz Fest over Thanksgiving will present a variety of traditional jazz music, from ragtime to hot jazz to swing to rockabilly at the Town & Country Resort and Hotel in Hotel Circle. Jazz bands and musicians from across the U.S. will perform.

San Diego Bay Parade of Lights

The San Diego Bay Parade of Lights is a time-honored holiday tradition with more than 80 boats lavishly decorated sailing by the shores for all to see.

Join us for the 47th annual San Diego Bay Parade of Lights, brought to San Diego by the boating community. Held on two consecutive Sundays in December, the parade proceeds from Shelter Island past Harbor Island, the Embarcadero, Seaport Village, Pier at Cesar Chavez Park and the Ferry Landing in Coronado. Whether you're a participant or spectator, the Parade of Lights is a festive and delightful experience for all!

Carlsbad Marathon & Half Marathon

The Tri-City Medical Center Carlsbad Marathon and Half Marathon course goes through Carlsbad Village and along the oceanfront Pacific Coast Highway.

More than a race, Carlsbad is an unforgettable experience.

Carlsbad is a winter marathon and half marathon unlike any other. From our ideal weather conditions to our spectacular coastal course, our award winning event will wow you. San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival

15th Annual Classic

Now in its 15th year, the San Diego Bay Wine + Food Festival® is the largest wine and culinary classic on the West Coast and is a signature event for the city of San Diego. The week long festival features wine tasting seminars, cooking classes by James Beard Award-winning chefs, intimate luncheons with hand-selected wine pairings, and unforgettable celebrity chef dinners. The Festival culminates on Saturday at the star-studded Grand Tasting Event held on the magnificent San Diego Bay.

San Diego International Auto Show

Where the cars are the stars! The San Diego International Auto Show features the widest variety of new vehicles under one roof.

The San Diego International Auto Show features an incredible variety of new vehicles under one roof, including over 400 vehicles from 30+ global manufacturers. Be among the first in the US to see more than 20 debuts of newly unveiled vehicles not yet in showrooms that are expected to be on display at the show. The wide selection of 2018 and 2019 model-year vehicles on display will feature the newest technology to enhance the driving experience, all packaged in luxurious interiors and wrapped in cutting edge designs.

When not captivated by the cars, show visitors can participate in exciting, fun new features, family entertainment, and interactive activities.

San Diego Restaurant Week

San Diego Restaurant Week returns Sunday, January 20th through Sunday, January 27th with a FEAST for the senses at over 180 participating restaurants. Dine deliciously at restaurants offering prix-fixe menu options throughout San Diego County. This foodie-favorited week is the perfect time to take a culinary tour throughout the diverse and thriving food culture of San Diego.

For one week only, over 180 participating restaurants will offer three-course prix-fixe dinner menus for $20, $30, $40 or $50 per person and/or two-course prix-fixe lunch menus for $10, $15 or $20 per person. The participating restaurants span across the county from the South Bay to East County and to the borders of Oceanside and Fallbrook to the North and touch on all cuisine types and cravings. Reconnect with your friends and family over scrumptious courses and good conversation. Treat yourself to an experience that extends far beyond the dinner plate as delicious food sets the scene to eat, laugh, and share! From appetizer to entrée, dessert, and libations, life is delicious during San Diego Restaurant Week! Now is your time to dine with over 150,000 fellow diners as the city raises its forks in one of the U.S.'s premier culinary destinations. Tickets are not necessary for this delectable week of discounted dining, but reservations are recommended!
